I am originally from Winter Haven, Florida but call Columbia my home now.  Being a full time Soldier, I have come to understand the importance of a good beer with great friends. When it comes to beer I would say I am an IPA man for sure. I enjoy spending time outside, surfing, hiking, biking and anything in the water. Although I love being active there is nothing like a cold beer and a good book. I lean more toward theology and philosophy so anything Chesterton, St. Thomas Aquinas or C.S. Lewis will get my attention. A lover of travel and new acquaintances, I try to get away as much as I can. Although I love to travel, I still enjoy time with our youth ministry and parish family. As I was thinking of converting to our faith I attended a CBC and haven’t looked back since. I strongly believe community is essential for spiritual growth.

“Do not be afraid. Do not be satisfied with mediocrity. Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch (or a beer).” – St. John Paul II

I am originally from the southwest metro Atlanta area. I recently relocated to Columbia in March of 2018 to work at Nucor Building Systems, and am very excited to be a part of the vibrant Catholic community I have found here! I enjoy gathering together with family, friends, and teammates to enjoy a good beer. A few of my favorite beers are Porters, Stouts, and IPA’s. I enjoy many different activities and hobbies including art, music, hunting, fishing, and board games. My first experience of having spirits was when my grandfather gave me a sip of his homemade blackberry wine about 10 years ago. He passed down the family tradition of making homemade wine which is a story to be told in person. Catholic Beer Club allows me to meet people who share our Catholic faith and enjoy a good beer while doing so! Community is a vital part of our faith, I look forward to meeting you and hearing your story!

See you at the next CBC event!
